We visited the Galway Races for some heart-pounding excitement and then enjoyed a relaxing evening by the water. The hotel’s location made it easy to walk to shops and attractions, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the poached eggs on Irish soda bread!

We did experience some street noise at night, but it wasn't a huge issue. The room got a bit warm, so we had to choose between some noise or a warm night. Otherwise, our stay was enjoyable!

excellent walking access to shops and parks

I loved our comfortable room and the friendly bartenders made for a great atmosphere. The hotel is just a few steps from the bustling shopping district and the beautiful Eyre Square, making it perfect for soaking in the city's energy during weekend strolls.

Our stay was splendid! The breakfast spread was plentiful, and we had the most comfortable mattress ever. However, the bathroom looked older than expected from the pictures.

The room was lovely and clean, featuring comfortable beds and a good shower, which made for a pleasant stay. Enjoyed a cocktail-making class that was fantastic, thanks to a friendly instructor who was a credit to the hotel. However, the noise from the street was quite disruptive at night, making it difficult to get a good sleep. A lackluster welcome at check-in from the receptionist was disappointing, as a warm greeting would have set a better tone for the stay.

The room was pristine and the shower was spot on, making my stay super cozy! I enjoyed lounging by the pool and unwinding at the spa after a long day. I did notice the elevator was a bit slow, but it didn't ruin the fun. 🌟

I enjoyed my stay at Hyde in Galway! The staff’s friendliness. The room was bright and comfortable, though a bit cramped for two. Loved the bar area for relaxation after our adventures. I'll be back for sure!

We enjoyed our 3-night stay in a spacious room. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a treat too, those poached eggs on soda bread were yummy! A downside was the noise from the bus terminal outside, made it hard to sleep in. But overall, loved the central location for exploring!

I stayed here for a night with friends, and it was a pleasant surprise compared to my last experience in galway. The bar had a great atmosphere, and our newly refurbished room was comfortable and stylish. The staff were genuinely friendly.

Family with children great experience

The staff were accommodating, we accidentally got in late but they made sure we could still eat at the restaurant. The food was also fantastic, special shout out to the kitchen staff for making our stay enjoyable.

It wasn’t cheap though, but honestly I felt it was acceptable.
